I will wait on God.

Holy Spirit, come into our hearts. We want to agree with the prayers of Jesus.
----
Psalms 17:1-2
1Hear a just cause, O LORD; attend to my cry!
Give ear to my prayer from lips free of deceit!
2From your presence let my vindication come!
Let your eyes behold the right!

I know that you will vindicate me. I know that you will answer me,
I know that you will vindicate me, with your presence.

For you judge in righteousness, you are mighty to save.
You are mighty to save, those who call on your name.

I believe wisdom will be justified.
I believe wisdom will be justified in your time.
No matter what it looks like, whatever it feels like, I will wait for you.
I will wait for the one who judges righteously.

I refuse to put up defense for myself, I won’t do this, no I won’t do this.
I’ll put my mouth to the dust and I’ll wait for you. I’ll my mouth to the dust and I’ll wait for you.
I’ll put my mouth to the dust and I’ll pour out my soul.
I know that you will vindicate me. I know that you will answer me,
I know that you will vindicate me, with your presence.

Into your hands, Into your hands, I commit my spirit.
I trust in you!

You are mighty to save all those who call on your name.
Into your hands I give everything.
I will not rise in defense of myself.

I’ll put my mouth to the dust and I’ll pour out my soul.
I’ll put my mouth to the dust and I’ll wait on God.
